About Us

Introduction

The Multicultural Sudanese Centre (MSC) is the community organisation of the New & emerging Sudanese Community in Victoria. The MSC was incorporated in 2002 to meet the needs of the growing Sudanese refugee population following the Sudanese Civil War (1982-2005).

Partnership

The MSC working collaborativlly with service providers, government agencies, schools, parents, students, Victoria Police, Afrcan Australian Women Association, West Sunshine Community Centre and built excellent relationship with Brimbankl, Hobsons Bay, Moonee Valley City Councils.

The MSC management it activities, from its office at 12 Holland Court Flemington. The office, run by MSC Committee members, provides computer, internet and office adminstrative support materials needed to run the programs.

      

Volunteers

The Multicultural Sudanese Centre benefits from the work of volunteers in the sewing program, Maths and English clubs, Arabic language classes and Homework clubs.  Our volunteers can help with a variety of community needs, and can be contacted through the Multicultural Sudanese Centre.
